Focus Design is me, Andrew Glencross.

I’m a freelance graphic designer with almost twenty years’ experience. Before venturing out on my own, I worked for a design firm, a print shop, and an advertising agency. My last job was as the in-house designer for a university. But now I want to help you get your message out.

My strengths are excellent communication skills and a passion for exceptional work done on time. My style is a balancing act between creative innovation and borderline-obsessive accuracy.

The kind of work I like to do is all about figuring out what needs to be said and who needs to hear it. I’d rather work with you to reach the right audience than try to make your refrigerators attractive to penguins. Informational design, publications, and brand identity are my specialties.

You’ll see that my client list comprises small- to medium-sized businesses, government, and institutions. I have a broad background mostly in print work, but have done some web design too.
